This is a School in NW Argentina – Quedabra del Toro Valley in the Salta Region. Most of the pupils have miles to walk to the School in high alltitudes. About 3000 meters above Sea level (9000 feet).

I really like the contrast between the bright blue school and the more drab landscape. It really looks out of place there, but I love it!
It goes to show that most of us in Europe have it so much easier. Great take on the theme
remote indeed! but glad kids still find time to go in there!
I love how bright colors are used to paint building in Latin America. At 3,000 meters I bet it gets cold in the winter.

wow, that's a very long walk to school.
we don't appreciate our education in the developed world. If we had to experience this, we might appreciate it more. The colours are absolutely beautiful!

I love the blue. It matches the sky and brings color to the red land.
Beautiful shot with the mountains behind the school. That would be tiring though walking to school in the high altitudes.
So they're up in the blue in several ways then ;-)
