Wordless Wednesday - 2009-11-18

Woman at the Pump - Sculpture in Oslo, Norway.
Also the title of one of Knut Hamsun's about 50 Novels.

150 years ago, the Norwegian Writer Knut Hamsun was born. In 1920, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature "for the epic, Growth of the Soil.
He is still very disputed in his homeland Norway. Said to have some sympa with national socialists, known as the German Nazi's. There is no doubt he was fascinated by German Culture, which in his youth included the most renown European Composer, Painters and Poets.

I have read all his novels, poems and plays. Nobody has revealed humans better than him. And in such a fascinating way. With deep insight and humour as well.
As an Author he was brilliant. Nobody disputes that fact.

You might see the sculputure at top when participating at the
Oslo Blog Gathering 2010.

Finally, realize that all the various bookmakers have their own rules and policies regarding how they settle bets done through arbitrage sports betting when they have such irregular results. As with the advice on pricing, be sure to check the rules of the individual bookmakers before you place your bets.

Following the philosophy of pyramiding, what happens in this system is that you place a bet and if you come out a winner you re-invest the winnings on the next wager. So in horse racing, for example, you simply let it ride. Also, unlike the other betting systems, the Parlay System offers a lower amount of risk of all bettors for because they only need be concerned with a win, place or show selection or a combination thereof.
college football betting
The Martingale System is probably the most famous sports betting system on the planet and actually has nothing to do with choosing the winner of an event but is more concerned with the right odds and money lines. It seems that the gist of the system is that it looks at the statistical probabilities of how many times in a row one may lose and is put into action by placing a bet and then betting again if you win.

In the preceding part of this discourse I concluded that (a) the greatest hazard for you as a typical, well-balanced sports Bettor is that you may continually lose more than you win and thereby regularly exhaust your betting funds, and (b) to thoroughly analyse the likelihood of that happening you need to properly address the following questions:

(i) What things could possibly go wrong that would cause you harm?
(ii) How likely is it that those things will go wrong for you?

Everything about horse betting

Several states have enacted legislation allowing slot machines and other forms of gaming on-track. Tracks such as Mountaineer have used this additional source of revenue to improve their facilities, increase their purses and upgrade their overall level of racing. This legislation has also made it attractive for casino owners, such as Harrah's, to purchase and operate horse racing venues as a part of their business strategy.
horses bet
There are however many controversies surrounding the horse industry. During races, some jockeys use a crop to hit the horse in the rump to direct their effort and possibly run faster. Based on the most detailed statistical study of whipping ever carried out, it is actually counterproductive and slows the horse down causing them to become distracted and dangerously go off course.

Some of horse racing's most legendary names failed to capture this event. Man o' War managed only 2 out of the 3 legs (did not start in the Kentucky Derby); Seabiscuit, after losing 17 straight races as a two year old wasn't even considered (although he did later beat 1937's Triple Crown winner, War Admiral in a match race); Cigar never competed, starting his great winning streak late in his fourth year.

bet on horses
As the field takes shape for the 131st running of the Preakness Stakes this Saturday, the question on everyone's minds is do we finally have a horse that can win the Triple Crown?

Next I've picked out Dennis Violet who played for the reds of Manchester in no fewer than 291 games during the Busby Babes period. Violet amassed 178 goals and was one of the lucky players that didn't perish in the Munich disaster. manchester united man utd vs To be perfectly honest, Manchester United has the kind of rich and accomplished sports history that can make any native son or daughter of Manchester proud. They have been one of the most successful football clubs in English football history, winners of the FA Premier League/Football League 15 times and the FA Cup 11 times. In addition, Manchester United has also won the League Cup twice, the European Cup twice, the UEFA Cup Winners Cup once, the Intercontinental Cup once and the European Super Cup once. rooney The current home games Manchester United shirt is red with a vertical, white stripe on the reverse. A patch with the words "The Red Devils" on a picture of the club's famous devil mascot is sewn onto to the bottom-left of the jersey. By contrast, the away shirt in use today is white with blue piping at the edges. It has red trim on the neck and the club emblem is on a white background on the left breast. The club emblem is pictured on a white background shield situated on the left breast. The emblem has been altered through the years but was originally designed based on the crest of the City of Manchester. One day Matt Busby was watching a local rugby team in Salford and was impressed by their flair and adventure on the pitch. When he discovered their nickname was "The Red Devils" he decided to attach it to his Manchester United team.

As with the advice on pricing, be sure to check the rules of the individual bookmakers before you place your bets.
bet football | bet online sport betting
One key thing to remember when you are seeking out the best sports betting odds is that the best odds and the best sports bookmaker are not necessarily one and the same.
bet on sports
The Martingale System is probably the most famous sports betting system on the planet and actually has nothing to do with choosing the winner of an event but is more concerned with the right odds and money lines. It seems that the gist of the system is that it looks at the statistical probabilities of how many times in a row one may lose and is put into action by placing a bet and then betting again if you win.

Another important subject I must briefly refer to is "catch-up" staking. If you find that you need to employ this tactic regularly, it means three things: (1) your Selection System sucks, (2) you haven't got a clue about what constitutes a proper Staking Plan, and (3) you have turned your chances of regularly and quickly losing your Base Bank to a 100% certainty!

2.) Normally, most online bingo game sites offer chat rooms for their players. Get conversing with fellow players and try to find out how many cards they are playing with. You can play with just a few more bingo cards to increase your chances of winning the game. online free bingo One of the winning systems is to play with fewer bingo cards. Most bingo players play with many bingo cards to increase their chances of a win at the game. However, playing with fewer cards provides the best odds of the game as your chances of making a big win are higher. Another bingo system in action functions according to the theory of probability. Balls from a bingo machine come out at random, which means that no one can predict emergence of any particular number. In the same vein, you can employ the probability theory to gauge the next number to emerge from the machine. Random drawing of numbers means laws of probability govern selection of balls and their appearance in a uniform distribution pattern. free bingo cash If you do not know anyone who uses the gaming sites or you want some additional reinforcement your first port of call should be an online bingo community. By reading reviews by other people who use the Bingo sites, you will be able to get a feel for the different sites that exist and make a more qualified decision about which one you would like to use. The knowledge concerning different sites and what other users consider important about them is an invaluable tool for the new online Bingo player. Whether it is for fun or for money, there needs to be an element of integrity within the site and a potential for the player to win the game. The knowledge of other users concerning specific sites will tell the new online Bingo player whether the site is for real or is just masquerading in order to harvest the players email addresses in order to bombard them with spam, or worse con them out of their hard earned cash. This can all be avoided with research and trying before you buy, as mentioned earlier the best places to scope out bingo sites is by using a review site or Bingo members forum.
no deposit bingo bingo
What you have to do is, coordinate the numbers that are called out by the host with what you have on our sheet, aiming at filling up a pattern reading bingo. The pattern would be announced at the beginning of the game, so you have to be careful to know what pattern you are looking out for. The cards have the b-i-n-g-o letters on rows and numbers running as a column. A host would call out a letter-number combination, which you would have to mark on your sheet. For example if I-34 is called, you will have to look at the I column down to search for number 34. In case you have it, you place a market on it, and so on.

Finding the right sports books and bookmakers to use for your arbitrage sports centrebet betting can be a daunting task with the internet now they are everywhere. The list of crooked bookmaking sites that have helped part people with their money and robbed them of their winnings grows longer every day. Being enlightened about this all sports centrebet bettors should do their due diligence before signing up with any bookmaker and be sure of their reputation as well as their guarantees on return of winnings. Almost all sports centrebet betting sites will have reviews so read them before making your decision on which one you go with.

Finally, to insure that you do indeed have the best centrebet betting odds that you can get, it is crucial as a centrebet bettor to shop the money line and the odds. Any reputable sports book online would offer the best line for your wagers without coercion. However, once you have found the best deal, it is important to verify and scrutinize the odds based on the past performance of the particular teams involved you can make appropriate judgments that can be indicative of the weaknesses and strengths of the respective sporting teams. You should also do research on the sports players, injury lists, and the teams if possible.
The Martingale System is probably the most famous sports centrebet betting system on the planet and actually has nothing to do with choosing the winner of an event but is more concerned with the right odds and money lines. It seems that the gist of the system is that it looks at the statistical probabilities of how many times in a row one may lose and is put into action by placing a centrebet bet and then centrebet betting again if you win.

From the above, therefore, you can see that finding a good Selection System and sticking to it is the only way to go if you are truly serious about making money at sports centrebet betting.
