That's interesting. I never thought about how they would have the bathrooms in a castle. Was that a room for the chamber pot? Was it dumped into the moat? See, you got me thinking about that now...LOL
I've seen that a lot in the medieval borgos of Italy - the added on bathrooms. :)
Ewww...But yes, I agree, there was still no plumbing then. Maybe the people got used to the "Royal" poop :D
That would be rather rank. Hard to imagine. I'd rather go outside.
