Oslo, August 31, 2006

This morning I participated in a Breakfast event about the use of blogging in business. Some of the hints we got were:
Read other blogs before creating your own. Then create your own blog. Keep it alive. Learn from experience and then you can start your business blog.
Well, I've read quite a few blogs, but until now haven't given myselv time to create my own. But today should be the day, I said to myself, and here I go. Thanks to all the people who have inspired me to do this and a special thank to RennyBA who have a very good blog.

Who am I?

Tor Aabo, born april 1945 in Oslo, Norway.

Married to Anna.

Four children (3 boys and 1 girl) and 2 cats.

We are living in Oslo during the "dark season" (mid Oct - April) and
South of Oslo (45 km) from April to October at Hurum peninsula.
Here is a webcam from the eastside of the peninsula.

And here are an autumn view from our platform (veranda) - can you understand we love this spot?

What you see are Islands in the inner bassin of the Oslofjord. It's situated at almost 60 degrees north. Believe it or not: You can go swimming in the fiord during Summertime.

And here are a Snapshot of the Sunset, as seen from our Winterhome

This about 15 km (less than 10 miles) South of downtown Oslo. 12 minutes by train.

Well, this is my first blog. Later on I'll tell you (and reflect) about our 1 month long journey to USA and Canada - even my youngest sons wedding
in august this year. And much more.

You can write in English, Norwegian (and other Nordic Lanuages ex Finnish), German and French. OK?
